Katelijne van Otterloo is one of Holland's finest jazz vocalists. She is a very charming personality which reflects in her way of singing and performing: her quartet is remarkable for its spontaneous way of making music. Interaction with the people and adaption to the atmosphere is a trademark for this musical and talented singer.
Katelijne is accompanied by piano (Michiel Buursen), bass (Bas van Otterloo) and drums (Arno van Nieuwenhuize) and performs songs of The American Songbook (Gershwin, Porter, Ellington etc.) as well as latin jazz song of Ivan Lins, A.C. Jobim, and pop-jazz songs of Randy Crawford. Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, George Benson, Cindy Lauper etc. 
All in her own, swinging style: Smoothjazz with a spark!

Previously released albums are Epps&Cathy (duo), Full Colour (with mostly her own songs) and Colors of Jazz (newly arranged jazz). Katelijne van Otterloo is working on an new album....to be announced!

Rita Reys

Katelijne performed all over the World in the nineties  with her girls group Exposure, including radio and tv performances. She was nominated for the North Sea Jazz Festival with her jazz duo Epps & Cathy and was daily on prime-time tv-programm she presented. 
With her husband, Bas van Otterloo, the son of the well-known conductor, arranger, composer Rogier van Otterloo, she wrote pop-jazz songs and made an album. A theatre-tour in Holland was the successful result. Katelijne as jazz/pop singer is active in different formations from duo to quintet and played recently with jazz-guru’s like Ruud Jacobs, Louis van Dijk, Ferdinand Povel, Thijs van Leer en Peter Beets.
